Proposed Terms of Reference Revisions
Revisions to the Terms of Reference Documents are in! The Terms of Reference document outlines the critical role committees and other groups play in the community. The document also contains various committee and association policies and procedures. This year, considerable revisions are being proposed to reflect current operations more accurately and sustainable practices for the future.
The revisions encompass ideas and comments penned by former board and committee members during past document review sessions. The draft also includes new suggestions from current residents, committees and board members alike.
Several versions of the Terms of Reference can be found on the Governance page of the official community website or by CLICKING HERE. The posted versions of the document include:
REDLINED DRAFT (click here) – the black text with a line through it indicates the removal of text and the red text indicates an addition to the existing document.
CLEAN DRAFT (click here) – this version reflects what the document will look like if all revisions are approved as proposed.
CURRENT DOCUMENT (click here) – this is the Terms of Reference document in place.
Residents are encouraged to review the proposed revisions and provide any feedback to the Management Office at gm@symphonyvillagehoa.com or in writing by mail or drop off at the front desk. Residents are asked to provide feedback as soon as possible but no later than Friday, November 22, 2024. All feedback will be presented to the Board of Directors for consideration and incorporation at their discretion.
The Board of Directors will be voting on the proposed revisions at the December 4, 2024 Board of Directors meeting. The meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. in Concert Hall and via Zoom. For meeting attendance information, please see the recent eBlast or your annual meeting notice.
