Ninth Annual Symphony Village Card and Game Party

The Ninth Annual Symphony Village Card and Game Party will be held on Thursday, January 18, 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., at the Goodwill Volunteer Fire Company’s meeting hall in Centreville.  The donation is $30 per person (80% tax deductible) and includes morning coffee and tea, lunch, table prizes, and door prizes.  There will also be a 50/50 raffle and three prize raffles.  Tickets for the 50/50 and prize raffles are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5.  Sign-up sheets are in the Wall Street Room at the Clubhouse in the Card and Game Party binder.  For questions, please contact Carlene Cooke (443-262-8146) or Lauren Rose (443-262-8238).  Please makes checks out to SVOPI.  Hope to see you there!

Fall Tea and Harvest of Fashions Show

Outreach will host a Fall Tea and Harvest of Fashions Show on Sunday, September 24, 2 – 4 p.m., at The Milestone in Easton (near the airport).  A traditional catered Tea will include finger sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream, pastries, and more.  PG Tips tea (regular and decaf) will be served.  Chico’s and White House Black Market will present the fashion show.  In addition, there will be raffles, door prizes, a 50/50 raffle, and table prizes.  Bring friends, relatives, and young ladies (ages 8 – 17).  Sign up together for a table, and Outreach will do the rest.  Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for young ladies.  Ticket sales will begin in late June – watch for the announcement.

Wine Glass Painting Party

Symphony Village Outreach will be hosting a Glass Painting Party on Friday, June 23 in the Concert Hall from 7 - 9 p.m.  $20 for 1 piece, $25 for 2 pieces.  Sign up in the Activities Book.  Checks to: SVOPI.  There will be wine and cheese and lemonade and desserts to enjoy!  Artist, Heather Nate from Chestertown will teach us how to design our own glasses!  She will have wine glasses, coffee mugs, beer glasses, water goblets, ice tea glasses, bowls, and salt and pepper shakers.  She will try to bring a mix of different glassware from which to choose.  Templates will be available so everyone can make beautiful pieces!  If there is something specific you are looking for, please contact Sue Canfield at suecanfield20@gmail.com.
