Annapolis Trolley Tour

If there are at least 15 of us we will have a private trolley tour to explore the back streets, marinas, and points of interest in Annapolis—colonial seaport, state capital, county seat, sailing center, and home of the United States Naval Academy!

With our friendly and knowledgeble guides telling you what to look for, you won't miss a thing. Sights include:

§  The City Dock

§  The Maryland State House

§  St. John's College

§  Maryland WWII Memorial

§  Handsome colonial mansions

§  Beautiful Victorian homes

§  Sailboats along the waterfront

§  Spectacular water views from bridges

You'll learn all about the academic and althetic programs at the United States Naval Academy as we view its beautiful grounds from the spectacular vantage point of the Severn River Outlook. You'll also learn about the almost 1300 buildings in Annapolis that are over a century old, and which represent 15 different styles of architecture. We'll pay special attention to the harmonious and balanced Georgian style, using numerous examples to showcase it—Annapolis has the highest concentration of Georgian buildings in America!

The private tour will cost $17/person and will last 1 hour.  The trolley holds 23, so sign up soon.  Please make checks payable to DAT and drop in our check box in the Wall Street Room.

We will meet at the Annapolis visitor Centor at 26th West Street.  Departure is 1:30.  More Information to follow to be sent to you by E-mail.
