Symphony Village Committee Overview

Artisans Guild - The SV Artisans Guild Committee promotes the artistic talents of our community members by conducting periodic art shows in the Clubhouse’s Concert Hall. All forms of art can be displayed in the shows and can be offered for sale at the choice of each individual artist. In order to participate in an art show, each artist must complete an “Art Release and Waiver of Liability form.” In addition, a “Symphony Village Artisans Guild Show Guidelines” form must be completed for each show.

Budget & Finance Committee - The Budget & Finance Committee represents the community homeowners in the areas of budget preparation, owners’ assessments, and expenditures. The Committee provides sound fiscal policies for conducting Symphony Village business operations. Another major function of the committee is to review monthly financial reports (balance sheet, income & expense statement, and general ledger) from the Management Company and provide comments and recommendations to the General Manager and the Board of Directors.

Covenants Committee - The Covenants Committee, established by the SV primary governing document – the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions - oversees the established Architectural Requirements to protect the design integrity of the community and preserve the value of your property. The Covenants Committee must receive an Exterior Modification Form prior to a homeowner starting any exterior project at their property except planting annual flowers.  The project description is evaluated individually for conformity with the Architectural Requirements, and is reviewed for proper scale, materials, colors, and any impact on neighboring properties.

Landscape & Irrigation Committee - The principal function of the Landscape & Irrigation Committee is to provide input and recommendations to both Management and the Board of Directors regarding maintenance and future enhancements of all Common Area landscaping in Symphony Village as well as support for the operations and growth of the Symphony Village Irrigation System. This committee also provides recommendations and direction to all residents for landscaping on residential properties in the community.

Lifestyle Committee - The Symphony Village Lifestyle Committee promotes a variety of social, educational, and charitable events designed to appeal to a cross section of residents. Our goal is to enhance neighborhood camaraderie, fellowship, and a sense of community responsibility.

Operations Committee - The Operations Committee represents Community homeowners, the Board of Directors, and the General Manager in the management and operation of community common property (Clubhouse, swimming pools, sidewalks, stormwater ponds, recreational amenities, etc.). Responsibility is shared with the Landscape and Irrigation Committee which monitors "living" community property (landscape, bushes, and trees), in addition to the irrigation system.

Publications & Communications Committee - The Symphony Village Publications & Communications Committee (P&C) is responsible for providing the community with timely and accurate information. This information covers all aspects of activities ongoing in the community as well as upcoming events.
